June 22, 2003I got some custome kickpanels from Q-Forms. They are pretty cool. I haven't had a problem with them and I haven't smacked them yet. The only thing is that you have to watch out for the passengers. Passengers don't give a sh$# about your kickpanels. My passenger side kickpanel is all scraped up and the speaker grill is dented in. I keep telling them to look out for it and they still do it. I got a girlfriend who uses it as a foot pedestal all the time and I'm tired of telling her it's not for putting her foot on it.
But they do bring out the sound quality. If you do decide to get one, you might want to consider getting them painted with several coats. The factory sends them with a very fine coat and scrapes easily.
August 4, 2003i had a customer with that exact problim. he complaind about it being uncomfertable and his dis respectfull passengers kicking them. i removed them, repaird the kick pannels and was able to install some better, smaller speakers under the dash
August 4, 2003oh my gosh i dont know why i didnt think of that , putting them under the dash, thanks i think that is the way i will go because i can just tell i will be breaking them off if they are at my feet
August 4, 2003depending on what ya want ya might have to build a quick bracket or 2.
April 17, 2012Anyone have experience using the MP Products Kick Panels w/ Speaker and Teeter Pods in their `65-`66 Mustang? I am considering using these in my car as I am nearing the completion of my restoration and am looking to install a stereo system.
