I want it to be streetable but still pack a lot of punch as far as seein a ricer, or a vette or somethin, and eating them for dinner! any suggestions for somethin streetable but still mean?

May 19, 2004what engine is in the car now?...all the engines you just names will be good for building...351 will have the advnantage because it is bigger...but my guess is the 302 will be the cheaper one ot build out of the 3 because all the aftermarket parts that are out for it
May 19, 2004the 289 is what is in it, thats why it says 289 to 302 or 351w
its a 1964 1/2 fastback, and it was originally AT but they already switched it to MT and its in great shape i dont think it has any rust except on the actual bumpers and its just little spots, not a big deal at all. It was on its last legs though so we already got it and took out the 289, we've left the trannie so far but i know im gonna have to switch it
i was just wanting opinions for what to put in as far as being a cost effective beast (i know, i know, oxymoron) but yeah i do have a budget..., and what all im gonna have to switch out for the two
