October 11, 2005Looks like it's getting pretty quiet in here. Seems like it's getting close to that time of year where everyone in our chapter puts their mustang away for the fall/winter & nobody posts again until spring.......Anyway, looks like I'm done for the season. I blew out a headgasket a couple of weeks ago while drag racing at Beaver Springs. Don't have the cash right now to repair it so it'll have to wait. Anyone else still playing with their stangs or are we all just pretty much done for the year?

October 13, 2005What a minute, you people are in the Toy train Capital of the world. With Christmas coming and all the Mustang related trains.
In 1942, tests of P-51s using the British Rolls-Royce "Merlin" engine revealed much improved speed and service ceiling, and in Dec. 1943, Merlin-powered P-51Bs first entered combat over Europe. Lionel may have been referred to as the Rolls Royce of the toy train industry at one time, but this is car related, not train related. Darn! Ah, but wait…Lionel did make a Mustang Set#6-21953.

Hope everyone is doing well!
November 8, 2005Just saw Russ's post about Ebay from Boyertown, PA. (If he could spell. ) I grew up in that area and graduated from Boyertown Area High School a few years ago. Been back there a few times and it really hasn't changed a whole lot. Nice area to live...
