Could use some suggestions here. Been looking at something like this for the tip of my exhaust pipe.
Was told I would have to cut off part of the tail pipe cause it curves downwards so the new tip would fit right.
Help!!!!

Why not get a cat-back system and those are included in the boxSeptember 1, 2006
What ever you get make sure it is stainless not chromeSeptember 1, 2006
Oh yeah, stainless NO Chrome. Chrome will rustOctober 13, 2006
YEAH.. JUST TAKE IT TO A PLACE LIKE MIDAS AND ITS PRETTY CHEAP TO DO IT.. THEY WILL JUST CUT SOME OFF AND WELD THE TIPS IN PLACE.. I HAD IT DONE TO MINE BEFORE I CHANGED THE WHOLE EXHAUST.October 13, 2006
like they said also you may have to have a slight bend added to the exhaust so the tip clears the bumperOctober 13, 2006

save up your money and get a performance axle/cat back system, its worth itMay 5, 2011
hi guys I thought I would take my American Racing Tailgunners off for the winter.. Now my question is... What is the best way to take car of them while they`re off? Of course I have them stored in a shed, but is there a conditioner I can put on them? And car exhaust tips too, best way to keep them nice?May 5, 2011
Just clean them off and oil them up for storage. The oil will help to prevent rust. It`s kinda like a gun, a clean gun will rust, a oiled gun wont.May 6, 2011
^^^ Agreed.![]() |
