February 26, 2007Thanks for the complements and comments. As for patients that I don't have. I want what I want and I want it yesterday I had to wait 2 months on a part for my powder coater and that threw my schedule way off. I wanted to paint a bunch of suspension parts but didn't have the time to do them all correctly.
May 18, 2011i need some advice as reguards wheels. I have a set of 17" alloys that I like but I was wondering whats involved in spraying or powder coating the wheels white? Anyonr done this before? What are the costs and is powder coating more expensive then spraying as this is what I would like to do on some of my car parts. My car is red by the way so it could look sweet. Thanks people!
May 27, 2011If you have the wheels already, and want to powdercoat them, I`d take them to the local powdercoating vendor (around here that`s either Specialized Coatings or Embee) and just have them do it - you pick the color, they clean, prep, and coat the wheels, and you pick them up ready to go.
I would not use regular spray paint on wheels - it`s too likely to flake off.
Maybe this should be a new thread?
