September 10, 2007I have a 95 mustang GT and my dash clock is not really working. Some times the clock will work for a few min but most of the time it doesnt light at all, I have noticed when the clock does work the time is still set so thats telling me its still getting power so it can keep the memory. I have removed the plug and check connections and everything seems ok. Is there a chance the clock is going bad thats why it wont light all the time ? or what else could it be because I cant really follow the wires back , they go into a harness.

September 11, 2007I would have said, check the wires, but you've done that. Hm, will see if I can look up the wire schematics for the clock to see where it goes.
September 11, 2007So, when it's on, it's on normally, but when it's off, it's completely off (but manages to keep the time).
I'd suggest resoldering the connections between the board and the display.
September 11, 2007In the event that resoldering the connections to the board doesn't work (which it should I would think since it seems like a short to the display) then I know that Late Model Restoration has them for around $80 for the clock itself and $30 for the housing...
