February 9, 2008I will scan for free, but you have to fly me to you. Was a joke since I live on the other side of the world, so people wont do it.
February 9, 2008Do you fit in a carry on, Henry???
February 9, 2008Just checkin--wasn't sure if you were really in Norway since you were in the WA. chapter.Glad to meet ya!
February 10, 2008Doesn't AutoZone do it for free? (Except maybe in CA)
I bought an Actron 9135 handheld reader from Amazon.com for about $100. It has definitely paid for itself.
February 11, 2008AutoZone around here does it for free...not much help as to the why though. They told my wife that the reason the code P1518 (Intake manifold runner control stuck open) was thrown was probably due to an O2 Sensor and that anything could have caused the O2 to throw it... I just figured a bad solenoid or gunk in the valve body of the IMRC. Ran some seafoam thru on a hunch and we haven't seen the code since. Atleast they can't screw up the code.
