February 8, 2009How do I remove my dipstick holder on my ''''86 GT? I know the top bolts to the header bolt. Where does it go into the pan? Will it just pull out simply? Is it a pain to get back in???

February 8, 2009It''s pres-fit at the block.
February 8, 2009Thank you! It must be easy then. Can''''t wait to start removing my old stuff. (BBK Shortys, Bassani X-Pipe w/cats and Dynomax Super Turbos mufflers.) And put on my new system. MAC 1 5/8 Ceramic Shorty''''''''''''''''s MAC off-road X pipe and MAC 2.5 Cat-Back with 3" Stainless tips!!!!
Here''''s the BEFORE clip:
February 8, 2009Just be careful not to brake the pipe, it brakes very easily.
Sound like a nice mod, remember to post up a video when you''re done
February 12, 2009Twist and pull.
It''s just plain steel painted black though, so if it doesn''t budge, spray it with some Liquid Wrench *or* something to try to get it loose. If it is rusted in place, and you brake it off, I am not sure how you''re going to fix it without taking everything all apart.
February 14, 2009Ok. We''''re all good. This system ROCKS! Loud as S**T and they haven''''t even broken in yet. Best invesment i''ve ever made. Makes those Dynomax Super Turbos (YUK) sound like Midas mufflers!!! Couldn''''t be happier!!!!!
February 14, 2009Can''t be better than that
Are you able to get a video and post it online for everyone else to see and hear?
February 14, 2009Ok. Ladies and Gentleman, here it is!!!
NOTE: The sound on the camera does not do it justice. It''''''''s much louder in real life. I''''''''ll try to get a clip with better sound.
P.S. I posted a before video in one of my previous posts on this thread. Listen and compare. And tell me I did the right thing!
