October 22, 2009I was wondering if a Gauge cluster out of a 2003 V6 Mustang with the digital odometer would work in a 1994-1998 V6 Mustang without the Digital odometer. I know if it did work the RPM`s should still be the same and the temp, fuel, and oil should still all work the same. By the way i`m finally back from my deployment!

October 22, 2009Everything is do-able. It takes time and money, like everything else.
October 23, 2009not sure about your question but welcome home and Thank You
October 27, 2009`94-`95 oil pressure gauge is driven differently than `96-`99 - there`s an extra component on the early boards. Later cluster will probably read funny.
`99 and up clusters are computer controlled. The `94-`95 clusters are fully manual, except for the speedometer, which is driven by pulses from a little box on the transmission.
No easy way to make the cluster read the right odometer reading.
Can`t think of anything else preventing you from trying it just off the top of my head...
