January 28, 2010Here comes the ice and snow!!!!!!! Hopefully you`ll be in the snow side. We had an ice storm last year, no power for 5 days sucked. LOL They are giving 2-5" of snow for here. By tomorrow, that could be .5 - 2" or 5-8".

January 30, 2010hey Jason
we were supposed to be in the freezing rain part but it started snowing here around 10 yesterday morning and snowed till around 5 or 6 dropping over 4"s when it turned to the freezing rain so far we still have power.was talking to a local LEO at work last night and he said they had over 40 accident call`s on the dayshift alone yesterday. the weather wasn`t supposed to hit till last night so schools were open then when it hit early the schools didn`t send out closings till the snow had accumulated so that just added to the total. we had over 3"s of snow farr in about 2 - 3 hrs.
January 30, 2010Snow is over here, quit this morning. We got 6" of snow here, which is the most that we have gotten in probably 10 years. Went sleigh riding this morning, finished off with a bang, off the hill, through the trees, then the bottom fell out and I went into the creek. THAT WAS COLD! Worst part was I hit the side of my head and now have a headache. I guess I`d better stay awake for a while. I don`t know if it was the cold weather or the head hit, but I`m a little sleepy. I was on a tube and FLYING!

we`re having the best winter ever here. Temps should get up to almost 60 this week. All the spring flowers are blooming (started back in January). Too bad you guys are having such a hard winter.
February 16, 2010Very strange winter here... it was about 80 the last couple days. Meanwhile, we have had unusually heavy snowfall in the local mountains due to heavy rains a few weeks back. Crazy.
